About Us
Australian Wool Processors is a commission wool processing company specialising in the scouring and carbonising of all grades of Australian wool for the global worsted and woollen trade.
Australian Wool Processors (AWP) is Australia’s sole early-stage commission wool processing company specialising in the scouring and carbonising of all grades of Australian wool for the global worsted and woollen trade markets.
The Adelaide-based company combines deep industry heritage with cutting-edge innovation, traceability, circularity and low-emission processing technologies to offer the wool industry a superior, home-grown service that surpasses all international requirements. It also secures the future of scouring and carbonising services in Australia, for the benefit of the country and its economy.
Led by Jim Robinson, AWP operates under some of the world’s most stringent environmental standards and gives growers local processing traceability to meet the increasingly demanding criteria required by many international brands. In the process, it positions them to attract and secure premium contracts.
It further ensures that global brands enjoy full transparency and integrity throughout the supply chain, from farm to fibre, leaving them comfortable in the knowledge that they’re accessing wool that is authentically Australian, backed by a legacy of quality and a commitment to ethical and responsible production.
